- 2 kids that are in college and doing collegiate rodeo.
- Love spending time with the family in the mountains and at rodeos.
- Hunts, fishing, building, sledding are just a few of my favorite hobbies.

- 2 years’ experience as a fert tech.
- 7 years landscape installation.
- 4 years’ experience as an irrigation tech.
- 3.5 years as General Manager.
- 11 years as account manager.
- 20th year with Ward's Lawn Service this July!

Love being outdoors on the 4×4 trails and camping in the Rocky Mountains. I’m a sports enthusiast, raising a seven-year-old son with my wonderful wife Liz! When I’m not working, I want to be on a golf course.

I began with Wards in 2004 with the responsibility of billing. I have since evolved into overseeing the financial activities of the company. This role offers me an opportunity to support the organization's strategic financial goals and maintain robust internal controls. I've learned everything I know from my on the job experience for the last 35 years in the industry.

Outside of work, I enjoy my family and spending time at our lake property at Jackson Reservoir, attending grandchildren’s sporting events and all recreational activities that involve my family.

As a receptionist/ Scheduler, I focus on organization, customer service, and communication. I enjoy helping customers and keeping daily operations running smoothly by managing schedules, coordinating appointments, and providing a friendly atmosphere for everyone I work with.

Ellyn Rush
Business Development and Enhancement Manager

Ellyn Rush brings over 20 years of diverse experience in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, and garden design. Raised on a small family dairy farm in Berthoud, Colorado, she developed a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for the land at an early age.
She began her college education at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville on an art scholarship, later transferring to Western State College in Gunnison. While there, she played collegiate basketball and pursued a degree in Business Management and
Marketing-combining her creative and strategic strengths.
Ellyn's professional background includes expertise in tropical plant design and installation, seasonal color design, and full-service landscape maintenance. She has been a valued member of Ward's Lawn Service for the past three years, where she contributes her knowledge, creativity, and passion for enhancing outdoor spaces.
Bio & Hobbies
Outside of work, Ellyn enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, especially cheering on her three grandsons in football, track, basketball, and lacrosse. Her hobbies include photography, cake decorating, baking, and cooking. She also loves the outdoors; fishing, camping, hunting, and gardening and takes pride in helping care for the properties of her elderly neighbors.
Thomas Jacoby
Fleet Manager and Digital Transformation Lead

I studied Management of Natural Resources and Information Technologies at Montana Technological University for 3 years and am currently finishing my degree in Management of Information Technology at Western Governors University.
I started my time with this company in residential and commercial maintenance as a crew leader and then moved into field mowing services for several years.
After my experience in the field, I was asked to help implement a new software program in August of 2024. I have taken on many roles to support our office staff, guys in the field, and mechanics. I also oversee a diverse fleet ranging from handheld tools to heavy equipment, ensuring operational readiness and efficiency. I continue working closely with office staff to further implement and improve our software systems by training all team members to effectively use digital tools.
Bio & Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature-whether that's fishing, skiing, camping, or pushing my Tacoma to its limits on off-road trails.
I also bring that passion indoors through my aquariums. I maintain two freshwater tanks-a 10-gallon and a 90-gallon-home to 13 species of fish, three species of invertebrates, and dozens of plant varieties. While my 10-gallon tank features species from around the world, my 90-gallon aquarium is designed as a South American biotope community tank.

Since Joining Ward's in 2013, I have transitioned from a foundational Role in Scheduling to a Comprehensive management position Leading our Human Resources, Contracts, Billing & Safety Departments.
Bio & Hobbies
My life is fueled by Creativity & Adventure. If I am not in the middle of a new craft project, I'm likely out traveling or camping. I am a firm believer in the "great outdoors" especially when I have my husband & our 2 wonderful dogs Ruger & Oakley, along for the ride.
